In early September
2020, a fisherman in North Queensland, Australia, disturbed a local saltwater crocodile
called ‘Tommy’. Robert Dunn was fishing from his small aluminum boat when he
spooked the crocodile who came up, had a hissy fit and growled.
Robert then filmed
the 4.5 metre (15 foot) long crocodile swimming beside his boat in a dolphin-like
way. Tommy was longer than the fisherman’s boat. The water was shallow and
Robert says the crocodile bounced off the bottom of the river and came up for
